LTL Corner

January marked yet another busy month for 2008. Judging from our customers' volume, they're just as busy as we are - and that's a good thing. To help handle the load, we've added another friendly face to our growing MPG crowd - Bill Huber. As our Less-than-Truckload freight grows, we just want to say "thanks" for being your first choice for shipping.

Meet the New Crew

Guess what? We have not one, but two new staff members. Bill Huber has been in the transportation industry for 25 years, mainly serving corporate fleets, DoD, truck body up-fitters, leasing companies, and other entities. Bill graduated from The Fisher College of Business at The Ohio State University, and enjoys golf, skiing, and playing jazz.

Also we have our new Operations Manager Scott Robinson. With Seven years of transportation experience, and a graduate from Ashland University he is sure to keep us in line. Scott is also married and has a 14 year old daughter, so we should keep him in our prayers.

Power Show 2008

On the 25th - 27th of January, the MPG Team had a booth at the 2008 Power Show. We met alot of great new people (and customers). It wasn't all business, though - we got to play in some big toys. We all had a great time not mention gave us a break from the office. Hope to work with some of you soon!

Joke of the Month

A young woman was taking an afternoon nap. After she woke up, she told her husband, "I just dreamed that you gave me a pearl necklace for Valentine's Day. What do you think it means?"

"You'll know tonight." he said.

That evening, the man came home with a small package and gave it to his wife. Delighted, she opened it - only to find a book entitled, The Meaning of Dreams.
